Original artwork description:

24" tall by 20" wide, 26" tall by 22" wide by 1" deep framed.
Painted on-site in the artist's neighborhood in Minneapolis. Features a smokebush in full autumn color, with leaves in shades of red, burgundy, pink, and orange, framed by a complex web of dark bare branches and soft blue and pink tones in the sky.
Painted in oil over casein paint on canvas. Granulating effects in the grass and background were created with casein paint and glazed over with oil. Iridescent and florescent oil paint have been incorporated into the colors.
The shapes of the foliage have been enhanced by oil paint thickly applied with palette knife.
Framed in a 1" wide "float style frame with a black finish and gold face. May be purchased unframed by request.
