Ten years ago, I was releasing the Smoke Collection, with Smoke I making its debut at the Dog Days infamous Hang-Up group exhibition to instant popularity.
Smokers have since been a recurring motif in my work, symbolising both female emancipation and the joy of letting go.
2015 was a particularly tumultuous and challenging period of my life, and the creation of these images allowed me to keep my head above water. With their ethereal and calm atmosphere, they are still amongst my favourite pieces.
Both Smoke I and Smoke II have been sold out for a while, but today, to celebrate their anniversary, I am pleased to introduce 2 pink versions of the original prints.
