Original artwork description:

Mandala Triptych. Series Smiley.

Hello!, How are you? and Have a nice day! - is a modern mandala triptych inspired by the image of a well known Smiley.

When I got an idea to create a Smiley mandala, I did a little google research to find out Who was the creator of this symbol and what were the circumstances of its creation..? And it was not Forest Gump while he was running across the United States… It was designed by a commercial artist in 1963… sure you can find the name of the artist yourself if you wish ti know more ;)

Since then, the original Smiley face acquired multitude of various face expressions exhibiting all sorts of emotions, which become a very valuable tool of transmitting those emotions while writing messages.
So, to paint this series of Mandala I have chosen three very positive smiley faces and created sort of a cheerful greeting row showing the emotions you see on the face of someone who is sincerely happy to see you.

I believe that this triptych will be a great wall decoration for a child’s room to daily cheer up your girl or boy bringing smile to their faces… or somewhere about an entrance door to greet your guests.
