My art is inspired by the world around me, by the everyday things I come across. Like this one weekend when I was doing my groceries, I saw figs on sale and just bought them. I have never painted them before and them being on sale was inspiration enough!

I set up this simple still life in my studio and painted it from life. The brushwork is bold and luscious with some impasto accents. This little painting can be combined with any of my other still life paintings to make a stunning display in your kitchen or dining room.

I have used the highest quality artist oil paints and it is painted on a gessoed wooden panel. If you buy more than one piece, I will offer you a discount on the shipping.
