Original artwork description:

This is a picture of fish in an aquarium. It is the first time I tried to make a two dimensional picture of a 6 sided tank look 3 dimensional on the 2 dimensional surface. I did this by painting each plane a different color. I tried to make the fish appear to be swimming. To heighten the brightness I touched the finished woven watercolor picture with some pastels.

The picture is a woven watercolor mosaic. It is made from two pictures of similar subjects, each slightly different from the other; one is cut up horizontally and the other vertically. Those strips are then woven together making the complete picture.
