"Slowly" would be more expressionist, I have worked inducing more movement and fading my colours to give a soft blurry effect; while working like that, it has changed my painting again. Art is life, so it is permanent evolution, I am sure Picasso, Matisse and many others would agree with me.
I am trying through the colours, through the search of contrast, playing with tones, to find a light, my latest paintings are more technical and maybe less random in the way it is done. Usually I let myself being guided by the painting itself, while I am now starting with a clear vision of what I want. So the experience is now, to achieve that vision, and that feeling for to share it with you.
The work on paper and hardboard allows me to do research about techniques, colours, textures; it's the permanent quest for harmony. I create samples of emotions, each paper, each board is a desire... a desire of texture, a desire of light, a desire of colour.... an expressed desire of many ranges of emotions. Often it is also the desire to sublime the blue, a colour that I adore. I like when the shapes of the motifs are organic, natural, soft on the edge, leaking, bubbling, when it has some fluidity.
The work on paper and board has started in 2015, it has been, and still is my laboratory.
