Pencil and graphite stick 6B on smooth paper.
My health sucks. So I end up spending too much time in hospital waiting areas, clinic waiting rooms etc. All that wasted time. Well no, I close eyes and rest. Then I open eyes and see all these poses around me … other people also waiting… Suddenly I’m in a room full of potential, and I’ve much sketching to do, all in expressive caricature!
These sketches are my exercise, my foundation to keep that side of the brain awake for when I enter my studio to work on my other bigger projects. Now there’s no more wasted time…
