Artwork description:

I travelled to the Isle of Skye in early April 2016 with the primary goal of photographing the Quiraing, a beautiful landmark on the north east side of the island. During my explorations, I happened upon this area of Skye that had not been previously mentioned to me before. I went back the following morning and traversed the river to reach my vantage point, with the Black Cuillin Mountains on the right hand side of the image and the tributary of Loch Sligachan leading us into the picture. I waited in the cold until the sun came over the hills and with the dark clouds rolling in took the image. It was a wonderful day in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.
