How would you capture a perfect summer night onto paper? How would you show sunset at the edge of a lake, the night so soft and warm you’re still in your T’s at 10:30 at night, kids laughing and playing, in pure joy, somewhere in a darkening campground behind you.

And, keeping silent watch from the other side of Lake Superior, the darkening Sleeping Giant mountain ridge.

This limited reduction lino print is the last of an edition believed to have been sold out a couple of years ago. This particular print had been mis-filed and only found again recently.

This is nine-colour limited-edition reduction linocut, carved and printed by hand from a single block, each colour printed individually.

This print is part of the Heron Road series - inspired by a year-long road trip along the back roads of North America.

Each print bears the number within the edition and the artist’s signature.
