Original artwork description:

This Oil Pastel drawing was done “en plein air” on a very hot and sunny morning as the sun was rising.
The name of this piece was created by my wife who looked at the bay and said it looked like a dragon lying down with its neck and head stretched out in front, I hadn’t noticed but after she said it that was all I could see! I woke up around 5 a.m to draw this piece. I was originally only planning to draw a one piece picture but as I was up extra early and the Dragon coastline stretched out so far horizontally, I decided to do a two piece “diptych.” The sun was rising behind me as I drew this picture with its morning light illuminating the mountains and rocks of the bay.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
