Sleep Paralysis - Nightmare - Dark Art 12x12 print_x000D_ Sleep Paralysis 12x12 Digital Print _x000D_ Starting to realise that my day to day tasks are ruled by the dreams and nightmares I have the day before hence my inconsistent madness. I often fight the urge and try and think what’s going to sell what’s going to bring in a living but older Im getting the less I fight the rain of creative ideas that come with the constant dreams and nightmares that Narcolepsy brings. I often have sleep paralysis dreams but last night was a reeeeallly long one and boy it was like being at an exorcism. I read that some people with narcolepsy get PTSD form these dreams. I gets why. Here’s a poem I wrote today too, hoes well with image. _x000D_ PARALYSIS DREAM_x000D_ _x000D_ The filth of execution _x000D_ The devil mounts my bed _x000D_ My pillow suffocates me_x000D_ As I gasp for air _x000D_ The treason that is sleep_x000D_ Chains me here _x000D_ I can’t move _x000D_ I CANT MOVE!_x000D_ I know this is evil _x000D_ Standing in my room _x000D_ Crawling like a spider _x000D_ Over my paralysed corpse_x000D_ Frozen in defiance _x000D_ I shout_x000D_ Come on then! _x000D_ Kill me!_x000D_ You think I’m some fucking _x000D_ Weak minded fool?_x000D_ My legs break free and_x000D_ Fight my cause _x000D_ My upper body still,_x000D_ But yet in thought, _x000D_ defiant_x000D_ with a soldiers strength,_x000D_ I inhale_x000D_ but no sound _x000D_ or stretch of my mouth _x000D_ To scream, _x000D_ As I realise I am awake _x000D_ This is another paralysis dream I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
