the painting is a portrait and an oil painting

Self-portrait This is me! and this is a thought, from an Italian writer Ivan Petruzzi, which has become my Mantra!
Slaves of a fleeting time and constantly under pressure, we saturate our lives with appointments, deadlines and duties in the hope of living more.
Lost behind jobs that don't reward us and people we don't like, we roll along the tracks of life with our eyes dulled by routine and the ephemeral.
We were born free, so we were taught. Yet, the more time passes, the more this freedom resembles an illusion. Ultimately, believing oneself to be a slave is much simpler than believing oneself to be the master of one's own destiny.
Because if you are the master, then there are no more excuses. You can't hide your head in the sand anymore. You can't put it off any longer until tomorrow. The only thing left for you to do is get a move on, roll up your sleeves and take back the reins of your time, of your life.

Painted in high quality Italian colors on a cotton canvas, stretched over a pine frame. The painting is new. It is signed on the front and back. With certificate of authenticity. The painting is an oil on canvas. Painted with semi-gloss transparent varnish to preserve it from time and UV rays. Fast and safe shipping with tracking in wooden crate carefully packed with bubble wrap. For shipments outside from the European Union and Switzerland, the shipment will be a few days late due to the recovery of customs certifications
