Original artwork description:

This is a shot of an ice hockey player shooting the puck. I had an affinity for a few weeks to memories of going watching ice hockey games just outside Manchester in England. This was a painting of nostalgia to some extent, but also to express the movement and speed on the ice. This also expresses the skill required to make a dead stop with the force demonstrated and then having the balance and poise to successfully shoot at the net all in one fluid motion.
