'Skylight swim' shows the reflections on the the surface of an aquarium from a skylight above. I love capturing the distortions that this creates, combined with the movement of the water. I like capturing the iridescence from the fish that has the ability to glow throughout the painting.

I never use black, but prefer to mix colours to create the required depths of colour. In the skyight shadows there is a mix of green, blues and reds that will show up at different angles.(adding to that iridescent glow)
The painting continues around the side of the painting and this is shown in the photographs.
