An impressionistic oil painting, part of a series of 'Modern Skies'.

This moody cloudscape was painted from observing the sky in London and finished in my studio. The atmosphere and light in the sky, is particular to each city in different parts of the world, and this is very 'London'. Clear blue, with dark clouds sweeping over.

I have layered and blended soft pastel blues, greys and subtle whites repeatedly, to create atmosphere and depth, reflecting the ever-changing nature of the English sky.

The professionally hand made, solid wood frame is hand painted, with Farrow and Ball paint, in white.

This artwork is sold framed and ready to hang.

Created with Michael Harding Artists Oil Colours on a linen panel. It is signed and dated on the back of the artwork (and this is repeated on the rear of the frame). A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be provided.
