Another in this series of animal skulls. Inspired by a birthday gift of two sheep skulls.

For me making work is all about fear. It’s fear that draws me back to printing as a way of making marks and never more so than when I’m making mono prints. The sensation as I draw back the paper/cloth or whatever is thrilling and in that moment it is almost as if the work is made by someone else and I can see it clearly and where I am to go with it. It has pervaded all my work this “transference” from one surface to another.
