I love drawing skulls. Not only are they interesting objects, but the symbolism is pretty strong! In this image, I was thinking of the flowers and birds (and bees) that die when we use chemical pesticides. I always want those perfect flowers; farmers always want those perfect fields. But when we use chemical pesticides, we tend to kill off the bees and birds and, basically, disrupt the entire chain of life.
