Artwork description:

A dramatic view of the beach at Skaill Bay on Mainland Orkney, a place where people have lived for over 5000 years. Just behind this view lies Skara Brae, the famous neolithic village dating back to 3000BC. As you stand here, with the village behind you, it is easy to imagine yourself back in time and wonder that the view is probably much the same as it was then.

I use wonderful Canson Aquarelle 300gsm paper which has the most fabulous watercolour paper texture and holds colour for a lifetime. Canson have been making paper for over 450 years and their paper was used by Picasso, Ingres, Miro and Warhol to name but a few. The inks I use are state-of-the-art non fade Epson Ultrachrome K3 with Vivid Magenta.

Your print is signed, titled and numbered in the bottom corners and is prepared with a generous white border to make it easy to mount. The print is carefully wrapped in acid free tissue then shipped rolled in a sturdy art tube.

I am very particular about printing! Unlike many photographers, I print all my own work so that I remain in control of the art from concept to delivery. If you have any questions please get in touch for a chat.

Materials used:
