Original artwork description:

A gouache painting a group of six magpies that suddenly turned up all at once and settled in the tree outside my studio window. As per the nursery rhyme, 'One for sorrow,; two for joy,...' etc. six equates to gold so there was no way I wasn't going to get inspired by them ! Then a couple of minutes later they disappeared just as suddenly as they had turned up in the first place :)

It is executed on 300gsm, hot pressed watercolour paper, is signed and titled on the back, is unmounted and unframed.
