Original artwork description:

Six ladies I wanted them to be exquisite, strong, in control, of indeterminate origin and voluptuous. I want the tone beautifully considered, profoundly sympathetic, and deeply respectful and admiring of the female form portrayed in an atmosphere of wonder, intrigue in all its humble yet life-affirming glory.

I want my art to tell stories to be vivid, exciting, thought-provoking; in the form, the colours, the brush strokes. my paintings are all about people though sometimes they may not always look like your average person; they are like the sea ever changing. I want my people to have a bit of character, a little of the night about them but above all I want them to be unique.

Painted using a pallet knife with thick oils on prepared gesso stretched canvas which is gallery wrapped the edges painted black so that it can be hung without the need of a frame

My work is displayed in over 37 countries, including some iconic places like Berkeley Square in London’s Mayfair, 5th Ave New York, Malibu beach and Hollywood in California and the latest is Greece.

Blanc a New York-based magazine wrote an article about me recently, it went on to say Ta has a special interest in character development and portraying “a little of the night…coming from my dreams and imagination.” This combined with her passion for colour psychology draws the viewer in and leaves them there, whether Ta is using oil on canvas, charcoal and pastels, watercolours, acrylic on wood or pencil.

To say that Ta is a versatile artist is an understatement—creating modern, contemporary, and folk art that includes portraiture and figure drawing in its vast subject matter and explores periods of Impressionism, Expressionism, and Cubism with influences from Botticelli to Lowry and Magritte.

At the start 2018, the editors of ArtFinder tipped me for the top as one to watch and invest in, picked from thousands of outstanding artists, I ended the year as one of their best selling artists.

COMMISSIONS:  I would be delighted to create you a unique work, whatever size you need or colour palette.
