Original artwork description:

This large landscape painting was Inspired by a road trip to Scotland in the summer of 2014 with my father. Travelling by car we stopped off by Glencoe and was in awe of its majestic beauty against the clear blue but cloudy sky casting shadow and highlights of sunlight that I just had to paint it when I got home.

It is painted with artist quality acrylic on deep base canvas covered in areas with acrylic ground for pastel and a thin layer of pastel for texture and colour. Pastel has been fixed with casein so is permanently fixed.

Painted edges. Ready to hang.
