Backs of people can often be just as interesting as faces, and these two little girls holding hands and looking out to sea are no exception. I happen to know they are sisters. Their body language shows there is a strong bond between them, which is most endearing. The real power in this picture is seeing such little people gazing out to the vastness of the sea and sky.
It is a pastel painting, not framed, but mounted on foam board with an ivory mount. Clear plastic sheet is inserted under the mount to prevent smudging, and all this is inserted into an archival bag. The painting can be removed when ready for framing.
