colored pencils, wax pastels, charcoal, markers, painted and printed paper and tracing paper and paper cut-outs on newsprint paper

a composition study generated out of the desire to use (mostly) colored pencils

an alternative, complementary version of “sistemi tetracromatici astratti sovrapposti 001”, but not a preparatory study for it

quick, fast pencil strokes contrasting hard-edged lines and outlines

a system of invented polychromatic shapes and geometries that coexist, in an overlapping and superpositioning state

plastic, transitory forms deform fluidly, as if propagating, into a harmonious yet fractured/fragmented cohesive whole

formless/organic/fluid/ambiguous shapes appear to move and collide with one another, interlocking, and ultimately become one rhythmic, polychromatic, homogeneous assembly
