Sirin and Alkonost are mysterious creatures that live in the forest.
The Alkonost is, according to Slavic mythos and folklore, a woman-headed bird. It makes amazingly beautiful sounds, and those who hear these sounds forget everything they know and want nothing more ever again. She lives in the underworld with her counterpart, the Sirin.
This is a dyptich. I created this artworks using acrylic paint, acrylic markers, liners, markers on a cardboard. Both artworks are framed in a black wooden frames. Total high is 105cm and length is 150cm.
