One day in India, passing a bamboo grove, I heard a song. This sound accompanied by the rustle of bamboo pierced my soul. I saw people now appearing, now hiding. Their silhouettes were intertwined with bamboo in an openwork panel of numerous figures. So a series of artworks appeared, ‘The Secret of the Singing Bamboo’.
