"Simurg 1" Mixed media and resin on wood - 50x50 cm Simurg or Simurgh is a bird belonging to Persian mythology and its colorful wings had magical properties. Abstract work made with mixed techniques and transparent epoxy resin, multiple layers of color and resin overlap to create depth and a three-dimensional effect within the work. colored waves enliven the antique pink background with shades that go from green to brown, purple, yellow and blue creating a rainbow of bright colours. The resin used in relief creates a Len effect that reflects the light on the background and makes it appear that the work is illuminated from inside. The satin stainless steel frame also creates reflections of light that make the work suitable for all types of lighting.
