I admire flowers and wish other people have a little part of them in their home and lives.
This art piece expresses a feeling of lightness and beauty.
This art piece has a unique combination of brilliant colors and shades along with the use of “black” to add a contemporary feeling to this bouquet and additional drama of light versus dark.
The butterflies and leaves are done using pen and ink and intended to give a digital aspect to them in form and design. The butterflies are realistic and at the same time imaginary. The butterflies are in flight to the colorful and exotic flowers.
This art piece is strictly out of my imagination, however, the flowers have a realistic presence to them and the technique of combining the looseness of acrylic with the hard outlines of the black ink designs. This technique is used exclusively by me.
