Original artwork description:

Unlike the majority of my artworks, which are composed of organic-wise textures, my series "Silver Geometry^ is inspired by the ancient cobblestones streets of Rome, the city I live in.
It is created by placing low parallelepipedons of various thickness and size atop a wood board.
Afterward, three coats of epoxy resin are used to coat the squares, round the edges and welding the piece, then the textured surface is gilded with genuine silver leaf 1000/1000
The leaf was then burnished with jewish bitumen to obtain a pale gold, aged look.
The dark bitumen collected in the recesses enhances the relief.
A final coat of shellac protects the artwork and prevents further oxidation.
