Original artwork description:

This painting is one of three landscape paintings exploring the idea of natural and manmade barriers. The path may be blocked, we see what is beyond and navigate a way to it. Or are we content with looking and imagining? Painted oil on card from woods around my home in Sussex, I loved the way the silver birch tree stood out in it's autumn leaf.
