I found this copse of silver birch on the edge of a local golf course. Sometimes locations for my work don't have to be remote or rugged. A simple walk around the edgelands of a city can prove very fulfilling when looking for new inspiration.
This image is created from two colours, the acid yellow of the autumnal silver birch leaves, and the charcoal grey of the detail. The original drawing was done in my sketch book, and then converted to the final screen print image in Photoshop.
Printed on 300gsm Snowdon using water based inks
