This Pencil on Paper Drawing is a double portrait of my wife and I making Silly Faces as the title suggests. I have always enjoyed drawing and painting portraits and enjoy the challenge of trying to realistically capture peoples’ likenesses. I also like to use images with different or unusual expressions, as I like the different shapes and challenges they create. This piece was created by cross-hatching with a pencil to build up areas of structure and definition in the faces.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
