A fairly distorted recollection of a spring time picnic many years ago.
The young woman had snagged her woolen dress on a gate as we climbed over in search of a suitable place to dine.
I depicted her with the care free smile she always had and added the birds that serenaded our excursion.
Oil on Slim line canvas with edges painted as part of the scene. Finished with soft sheen varnish to avoid the glare from electric lighting.
Strung and ready to hang
