This is a new drawing in the Silhouettes series.
But it was inspired not with the real girl, but with the ones seen portrait of a belle époque Russian artist Elena Kiseleva, 1913, Paris .Yes, my homage came out in a "al andaluz" manner, because colors and fabrics of Andalusia surround me.
Silhouettes
The technique of this series is gouache and pastel over Canson paper. Drawings are made quickly as sketches, just to pick up a silhouette. And pastel strokes in several layers give the artworks depth and vibrancy.
