The artwork consists of two adjacent canvases, one measuring 100x70 cm and the other 100x100 cm, which can be hung on the wall either side by side or separately. The artist used acrylic, resin, enamel, and bitumen on canvas. The pieces depict a couple walking together and a woman with a child: two moments in life, two different emotions. The delicate color palette shifts towards salmon to convey serenity. The brushwork is as delicate as we should be as humans on this Earth. The light suspends reality, bringing forth figures free from temporal constraints. The subjects exist in a timeless and metaphysical dimension where memory becomes the primary emotion. These artworks are part of a series exhibited at the Museum of San Salvatore in Lauro in Rome in 2022, and in 2021, Lauriola won the First Prize Arbiter Fata Verde 2021, SyArt, Sorrento International Festival Villa Fiorentini with them.
