Original artwork description:

This mixed media painting in many ways resembles the surface of a polished stone. Different layers of gouache paint were mixed with water and sand to create an organic under-painting. The painting is finished with a transparent layer of oil paint where drops of terpentine mixed with gold and white colours were added to give more organic looking details.

The sides of the painting are the same colours as the front. The painting is varnished, ready to hang and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
