Original artwork description:

Autumn is a wonderful season and nearly makes up for the passing of summer. Quiet and still in the woodland. Damp and decaying aromas. Colours that change on just about a daily basis on a sliding scale from greens and limes through to oranges and umbers. 'Silent reflections' picks up on the stillness and atmospheres in the woodland with an atmosphere created in firstly acrylic, then heavy impasto oilpaints on board, with a subtle low autumn sun smouldering on the horizon.
