The light of the full moon is on the background trees which has given them a translucent ghostly look and feel, which is also highlights a snow covered forest floor, as well as highlighting an owl flying through the trees in this magical scene
I have painted this scene with many hues of blues, and many textures of paint from thin glazes to thick paint applied by a pallet knife and brush.
A unique night scene full of atmosphere.
Silent Night is painted around the sides so it can be hung without a frame.
