In this artwork, I've harnessed the raw strength of monochromatic pigments to sculpt a mosaic of symbols that resonate with our day-to-day life. Each icon is deliberately crafted to evoke personal and collective experiences, inviting introspection on our modern existence. It's a symbolic narrative, intentionally blurring the lines between the tangible and digital realms. This piece is designed to bring a thought-provoking energy into your home, provoking conversation and reflection.
I was inspired by traffic and safety symbols as well as symbols found in shopping malls, because they remind me cave paintings. According to some theories, cave paintings were not just merely decorations of living areas, they may have been a way of communication with others. Hence, in my opinion, traffic, safety and shopping center symbols also are a certain way of communication and they can tell a story of the 21st century humans in their visual images, for her they are like an international visual language of communication that can be understood in a global context. And I would like that those artworks would be understood in a global context too.
The unique artwork is a high quality Giclée print 1/1 on 390 gsm natural canvas, streched on a premium wooden underframe and varnished with a special varnish. It will last for generations.
It is ready to hang. It is signed on the back.
No need for framing, but it can be framed if desired.
