I was inspired by “Swan Lake,” one of the most famous and acclaimed ballets of the 19th century, set to music by Piotr Ilych Tchaikovsky. It encapsulates romanticism, virtuosity, elegance and fantasy. I was very involved in imagining the portrayal of Princess Odette who, due to the spell of a jealous magician, turns into a white swan during the day. But one night she meets Prince Siegfried who falls in love with her. In creating this artwork, I poured my soul into oil, resulting in an expression of fine art that encompasses realism and figurativism. Passion transcends the painting, inviting the viewer to explore the emotional depth of the subjects, captured in a moment of intense connection. Their embrace, enveloping and charged, transcends the visible, inspiring the viewer to seek beauty in their own emotional relationships.
