"Siamese #2" is a part of series “Siamese” photographed since 2011.

"Siamese #2" photo is both humorous and fascinating. Built upon an interesting concept, it encourages viewers to gaze and seek meanings. Another noteworthy aspect is that two entirely different individuals, friends Ewa and Monika, are posing in the photo. For me, this photo wonderfully illustrates how fun can become art.

What’s most important for me in photography is a unique atmosphere and the element of surprise. In my works, I like to introduce an element that does not match the presented reality takes on a more surreal character, and the whole picture acquires new meanings. My photographs are based on specific nostalgic atmosphere which become the most recognizable element of my works.

It's printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta paper. It's a pure cotton paper with an inkjet coating that has been perfectly optimised for the needs of FineArt applications. The natural white paper comes in a pleasant, warm shade of white and contains no optical brighteners. The exquisite surface texture gives the paper a lovely, delicate feel while at the same time lending it an artistic note. In combination with the high-gloss premium inkjet coating, it produces stunning print results with outstanding reproduction of colour and detail, deep blacks and perfect contrasts.

The print will be produced with about 1 cm white border.
