THE ART:
This painting is an original Pastel painting “Showing Off”. This painting is homemade with an illustrative vibrant impressionistic style. I created this pastel painting based on a photo I took in the springtime in Manhattan, New York. I loved the bright hues of orange and red centered trumpet, playing off the white petals with a touch of vibrant yellow. The vibrancy of color in this photograph and the view of the trumpet, which almost looks thre-dimensional. I like to use very vibrant colors in my art. Each painting takes me many hours from start to finish to execute the level of detail and show the delicate textures in my work. I use soft and hard pastels and pastel pencils on grey Strathmore paper. Images showing it framed are just a suggestion on what to do when you receive my art and is for presentation purposes.

This painting is unframed. Painting is shipped either flat or rolled carefully for protection. One of a kind pastel painting handmade (not a print) original, colorful and detailed. I spent weeks perfecting details and textures.
