I am interested in capturing human emotion and interactions by representing expression and gestures through the use of paint, colour and mark making.
Exploiting the conventions of cinematography by using close-ups, heavy cropping and saturated colour; added to this is a gestural paint technique giving movement and immediacy to the image.
