Original artwork description:

One of a series of paintings from earlier this year in which I was trying things out. It is also another of my "Roadside America" series of paintings which I return to every so often. In this one I was trying out using a limited palette of the complementaries yellow and violet..with small amounts of orange and green to give it more variety. It is based on a trip to New Orleans many years ago and indirectly refers to the track by Talking Heads...
