Acrylic painting depicting a ruined cottage near the shore on the Isle of Skye Scotland.
This is another view of the same cottage that I have painted before.
It was inspired by a memory of a cottage similar to this one that I recall seeing near Broadford on the Isle of Skye.
I have painted the cottage down into the left hand corner of the canvas in an effort to emphasise the scale of the environment in relation to the cottage
Did a bit of a sunset here too to convey the end of the day and the passing of time where the ruined cottage is also nearing the end of its time.
