Original artwork description:

I often find myself drawn to the vibrant local market, not just for the fresh produce but also for the endless inspiration it offers. During one such evening visit, I was captivated by the stark contrast between the brightly lit shops and the deep, azure sky. The scene, bathed in a soft, golden light, was simply too beautiful to resist. I quickly captured the moment with my camera, eager to recreate it.
Back in my studio, I delved into the painting process, using my reference photo as a guide. The challenge was to translate the fleeting beauty of the moment into a lasting artwork. I focused on capturing the play of light and shadow, the intricate details of the market stalls, the figures, and the vast expanse of the evening sky. The result is a painting that evokes the feeling of a tranquil evening, a moment frozen in time.
