I've accumulated a lot of vintage ephemera over the years and have been wanting to stretch myself into working more with mixed media in an abstract way.
While gathering and assembling I kept thinking about the washed out tone of old polaroid pictures and being inspired by the recent Wes Anderson movie.

This unframed assemblage of 1940's, 50's and 60's clippings have been carefully arranged on a 10 x 8 mount board base with an aged and textured paint effect. The large arrow reminded me of a beach hut and the girl holding a ball, standing on the shooting stars felt as though she was on a diving board. Op art style mountains add to the depth of the scene.

Receive this tissue wrapped and sandwiched in double wall cardboard before going in an envelope box for a safe journey. Tracking included.
