Original artwork description:

I painted this in Tokyo from a sketch I took at the botanical gardens, Shinjuku Gyoen, while studying for my Chinese Art diploma. It was painted using ink and Chinese pigments which are similar to watercolours but more opaque. It always makes me feel very serene to look at it and remember the peace of that greenhouse.

The piece comes mounted and in a silver frame as pictured, ready to hang.

Materials used:

paper, Chinese watercolour pigment, ink
