Shine On

Through the fog the lights of the small seaside town of Greenock shine; they seem to be gently blanketed in dove grey mist. Like the town of Brigadoon the town appears and disappears every few minutes as if under a magic spell. Out on the waters of the Clyde small lamps shine brightly to warn ships and small boats of the dangerous waters underneath a deceptively calm surface.

Printed at 30 x 30 inches with white border for total of 36 x 36 inches.

I photograph and print every image, I do not outsource any part of my workflow. Each canvas has been painstakingly crafted to ensure the true colours, resolution and texture are exactly as they should be.

For these special small editions of my work I use beautiful Canson Baryta paper which has a sheen that perfectly captures the reflections on the water in this image.
