“Shimmers and Shines” is an ethereal abstract seascape oil painting 40 x 50cm (15 x 20 inches) on a 2cm (0.5 inch) deep canvas. Painted while thinking of time spent in Prussia Cove in Cornwall watching the sea at night. The title is from a song by the Waterboys

It's painted in metallic turquoise and black oil paint. The paint is layered and blended and heavily textured in parts, the image continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.

“Shimmers and Shines” makes a good partner with ‘Shimmers and Glows” and they could be hung together as shown in the in situ mock up photo with the sofa.

When I despatch a painting I always send a personalised card and a complimentary set of 3 hand made greetings cards as a thank you.
