Original artwork description:

This seascape is inspired by a walk on the mud flats at the beach near where I live in North Wales during low tide,walking right to the edge of the water a long way from the beach itself, I found the sea unusually calm on a warm day, the surface of the sea flowed gently with only faint signs of tiny ripples of water and it looked more like 'silk' than an ocean. The shimmering reflected over these faint ripples flickering like thousands of stars and the calm of the sea is what left a strong impression for me to create this painting.
It has a sky made of multiple hues of light blues and a hint of turquoise some of which is also reflected on the surface of the sea, the shimmering is laid down with tiny pin sized spots of paint running in horizontal lines all the way from the horizon to the foreground.
This painting is also painted on all four sides and does not require framing.
The size is 16x16 inches with a slim deep edge. (40.5x40.6x2 cm) and it is ready to hang.
